The Core Laboratories at the American University of Beirut help clients select appropriate sampling methods, determine analytical requirements, and meet applicable standards. Air Quality Analyses
Our Laboratories support air quality programs with stationary source emissions analyses and air quality analyses using EPA Toxic Organic methods and EPA Indoor Pollution methods. We use sensory and analytical techniques to support odor emissions sampling and ambient odor evaluations. Routine analyses include particulars, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, phenol, formaldehyde, organic solvents, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and metals.

Method Development and Validation
I there is no NIOSH or OSHA method for the chemical in question, we can assist with sampling and analysis method development and validation. We are the only one to offer method development as a routine service, which includes determination of sampling de vices, collection efficiency, recovery studies, storage stability, detection limits, precision, and accuracy.
